Winter Storm Blasts Midwest, Moves Toward Northeast

In the United States, a powerful winter storm is moving northeast after
blasting much of the country’s mid-section Thursday. Parts of
Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas saw more than a foot of snow. Wichita,
Kansas saw its second-highest snowfall on record with more than 14
inches over two days.
