Congolese Troops Quash Series of Attacks; 100 Killed

Troops in the Democratic Republic of Congo quashed a coordinated series
of attacks on the airport, a military barracks, and the headquarters of
the state television station Monday. In total, about 100 people were
killed. The attackers were followers of a pastor who has accused the
government of harassing his supporters.
