December 2, 2013 Dozens Killed in Iraq Violence; November Toll Tops 600 ------------------------------------------------------- Dozens of people were killed in Iraq over the weekend amidst a worsening spate of violence. At least 52 people were killed on Friday, including many kidnapped and shot dead. Ten were killed and 25 wounded on Sunday when a suicide bomber hit a funeral procession north of Baghdad. Iraq is facing its worst violence in five years, with more than 600 killed in November and more than 6,000 killed this year. .
