Israel Shelves Plan to Expel Bedouin Arabs

Israel has shelved plans for a mass expulsion of Bedouin Arabs following
massive protests. The so-called Prawer Pan would raze Bedouin villages
in the Negev desert and replace them with Israeli settlements,
displacing tens of thousands of people.
