U.S. Sues Bank of America for Mortgage-Backed Securities Fraud

Obama's speech came as both the Justice Department and the Securities
and Exchange Commission sued Bank of America on Tuesday, accusing it of
willfully defrauding investors by concealing risks associated with
hundreds of millions of dollars worth of mortgage-backed securities at
the start of the financial crisis.
