U.N. Security Council Votes to Send Troops to Mali

The U.N. Security Council has voted to send peacekeeping troops to Mali,
where French troops are aiding the government in its struggle against
militants. The force of roughly 11,000 soldiers and 1,400 police
officers would deploy July 1.
