Uruguay Lawmakers Vote to Legalize Same-Sex Marriage

In a historic move, lawmakers in Uruguay have voted overwhelmingly in
favor of legalizing same-sex marriage. President José Mujica is widely
expected to sign the bill, making Uruguay the third country in all of
the Americas to legalize same-sex marriage, after Argentina and Canada.
