Report: BP Agrees to Record Fine for Gulf Coast Spill

The oil giant BP has reportedly agreed to pay a record criminal fine for
the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf Coast. According to
Reuters, BP will plead guilty to criminal misconduct and pay a massive
penalty that will surpass the $1.3 billion record held by the drug giant
Pfizer. The reported settlement could be unveiled as early as today.
