Congress Holds Hearings on Steroid-Linked Meningitis Outbreak

The House is holding hearings today into the meningitis outbreak linked
to steroid injections that have caused 32 deaths and hundreds of
illnesses across the United States. In a new report, the House Energy
committee says the chief pharmacist at New England Compounding Center,
the company behind the injections, stonewalled and even lied to
regulators who had sought to force changes for a number of years.
