Dozens of Undocumented Immigrants Deprived of Food, Water by Alleged Smugglers in Texas

At least 115 undocumented immigrants face deportation in Texas after
authorities found them forcibly held without food or water for days. The
immigrants were abandoned inside three homes bound by padlocks and
chains as well as bars on the window. Police were alerted to the scene
after one captive immigrant called in for help. Two suspects have been
detained on charges of illegally harboring immigrants.
