Attorneys for Jailed Environmental Activist Tim DeChristopher Seek to Overturn Sentence

Attorneys for the jailed environmental activist Tim De Christopher
appeared in a Denver courtroom on Thursday to challenge De Christopher's
two-year sentence for posing as a bidder to prevent oil and gas drilling
on thousands of acres of public land. De Christopher’s attorneys
argued he should be released for stopping an auction that was later
deemed to have been in violation of government rules.
