Ecuador: 12 Arrested Inside Chinese Embassy for Protesting Copper Mine Deal

detained inside the Chinese embassy Monday. They were protesting
Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa's decision to sign a deal with a
Chinese firm to open a massive copper mine in the Amazon.
