New Mexican Activists Call for Probe of Albuquerque Police

Activists in New Mexico are increasing calls for a Justice Department
investigation after Albuquerque police shot and killed two men last
week, bringing the total number of people killed by police there to 18
in just over two years. The city of 550,000 saw nine fatal shootings by
police in 2010 — compared to eight that year in New York City.
