Maryland Enacts Same-Sex Marriage Law

Maryland has become the latest state to legalize same-sex marriage. On
Thursday, Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley signed a same-sex marriage
bill into law following its passage by state lawmakers last month.
Maryland joins seven other states and the District of Columbia.
