U.S. Drone Strike Kills 9 in Yemen

A U.S. drone strike in southeastern Yemen has reportedly killed nine
suspected al-Qaeda militants. The attack occurred in the Yemeni town of
Azzan, where hundreds of fighters were said to have fled before the
Yemeni army recaptured southern strongholds earlier this week. Intense
fighting between the army and militants was also reported in an area
east of the recaptured towns.
