Con Ed Locks Out Unionized Workers in N.Y.

In New York, the heat wave pushed temperatures into the 90s, and power
grids faced further strain after the power utility Con Edison locked out
thousands of unionized workers in a labor dispute. The two sides remain
at an impasse over a new contract.
