July 13, 2012 Icelandic Court Rules Against Credit Card Firms in WikiLeaks Case ------------------------------------------------------------------ The online whistleblower Wiki Leaks says it has won a significant victory in challenging a financial blockade imposed by major financial firms. Master Card, Visa, Pay Pal, Bank of America and others have blocked Wiki Leaks' donations since it began publishing classified U.S. government diplomatic cables in 2010. An Icelandic court has now ruled Visa and Mastercard broke laws in stopping Wiki Leaks' payments and has ordered the companies' local partner to resume processing its donations. .
