Sierra Club Took $26 Million From Gas Industry

The Sierra Club has admitted it accepted more than $26 million in
donations from one of the nation’s largest natural gas companies at a
time when the environmental group was publicly promoting natural gas as
an alternative to coal. On Thursday, the Sierra Club said it stopped
accepting the money in 2010.
