Sports News Giant Criticized over Racist Phrase in Jeremy Lin Headline

ESPN has fired one employee and suspended another for using a racist
phrase in connection to the New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin. After the
Knicks lost Friday night, ESPN posted a story on its mobile site
headlined "Chink in the Armor." Lin is the NBA's first American-born
player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.
