54 Syrian Civilians, 3 Intel Officers Killed in Nationwide Violence

Syrian activists say 54 civilians were killed across the country Monday
as violence continues despite a U.N.-backed ceasefire and a unanimous
vote by the United Nations Security Council over the weekend to send 300
observers to monitor the truce. Meanwhile on Tuesday, three Syrian
intelligence officers were reportedly killed in Damascus.
