Israel Ordered to Pay $430,000 for Shooting Death of 10-Year-Old Palestinian Girl

An Israeli court has ordered the Israeli government to pay $430,000 to
the family of a 10-year-old Palestinian girl who was shot dead by an
Israeli border police officer. Abir Aramin died in 2007 when she was hit
by rubber bullet while she was on her way to buy candy at a local store.
No Israeli officials have ever been charged in the killing.
