Brazilian Anti-Deforestation Activist Assassinated

In news from South America, another Brazilian activist who campaigned
against illegal deforestation of the Amazon has been assassinated. Joao
Chupel Primo, 55-year-old, was killed on Saturday. He is the eighth
environmentalist farmer to be killed since May in the Amazon.
