Judge Blocks Mandatory Drug Testing for Welfare Recipients

A federal judge has blocked a new Florida law requiring recipients of
welfare benefits to pass a drug test. Judge Mary Scriven ruled that the
law may violate the Constitution’s protections against unreasonable
searches and seizures.
