Cuba Opens Way for Home Ownership

The Cuban government announced a major economic reform Thursday. For the
first time since the 1959 revolution, Cuba is allowing Cubans to buy and
sell their own homes. Cuban officials have expressed hope the rule
change will generate new tax revenue and spur new housing development.
