Arrest Total After Oakland Strike Reaches at Least 80 
------------------------------------------------------



In California, Oakland police are now saying at least 80 protesters were
arrested late Wednesday and early Thursday following the general strike.
While the main protest was peaceful, clashes broke out between police
and a small group of protesters at night. The storefronts of several
banks and stores were vandalized.
