Pakistani Taliban Declares Nationwide Ceasefire 
------------------------------------------------



The Pakistani Taliban has reportedly declared a nationwide ceasefire in
an effort to pursue peace talks with the government. According to a
senior commander with the movement, the ceasefire has been in effect for
the last month. The statement supports other recent Taliban
announcements that peace talks are underway.
