Syrian Opposition Calls for General Strike

In Syria, the opposition Syrian National Council has called for a
general strike today in protest of the Assad regime's deadly crackdown
in Homs. More than 100 people have reportedly been killed after Syrian
forces launched a new attack on Homs last week.
