Saudi Arabia Bans Public Protests

In news from Saudi Arabia, the country's Council of Senior Clerics has
banned all public protests. The decision was announced following a
demonstration Friday calling for an end of discrimination against the
country's Shiite minority. Human rights groups say at least 26 Shiites
have been arrested in recent days.
