Assad Accepts Resignation of Syrian Government

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has accepted the resignation of his
government following two weeks of protests. More than 60 people have
been killed in a wave of rallies calling for political reforms. Assad is
expected to address the protesters in a speech later today.
