California Transit Agency Agrees To Pay $1.3 Million To Family of Oscar Grant Over Murder Case

In California, the Bay Area transit agency has agreed to pay $1.3
million to settle a federal civil rights lawsuit brought by the family
of Oscar Grant who was shot dead on a train platform on New Year's Day
2009.
