27 Killed in Southern Iraq Bombing

In Iraq, at least 27 people have been killed and more than 30 others
wounded in a bombing near the southern city of Diwaniya. The explosive
was detonated close to the home of the region’s provincial governor.
Many of the victims of were police officers.
