Mass Grave Discovered in Iraq

In Iraq, a massive grave containing some 900 corpses has been uncovered
near the central Iraqi city of Diwaniyah. The bodies are believed to
belong to Kurds killed by Saddam Hussein’s regime during the 1980s
when he was backed by the U.S. government.
