Pentagon to Announce Readiness on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Repeal

The Pentagon is expected to announce today it is prepared to implement
the repeal of the "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" policy barring openly gay
men and lesbians from serving in the U.S. military. President Obama
signed the repeal into law last year, but had deferred its
implementation until military leaders gave their approval.
