Journalist Tapped to Replace Gibbs at White House 
--------------------------------------------------



The White House has tapped former journalist Jay Carney to replace
outgoing Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. Carney will take over from Gibbs
beginning next month. Carney has served as communications director for
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden after a previous stint as Washington
bureau chief for Time magazine.
