Lawmakers to Introduce Gun Control Legislation

The Tucson shooting has renewed a national debate about gun control.
Democrats Rep. Carolyn Mc Carthy of New York and Sen. Frank Lautenberg
of New Jersey said they plan to introduce legislation targeting the
high-capacity ammunition clip used by accused shooter Jared Lee Loughner
in the attack. Mc Carthy ran for Congress after her husband was gunned
down and her son seriously injured in a shooting in 1993 on a Long
Island commuter train.
