U.S. Customs Agent Slain in Mexico Attack 
------------------------------------------



A U.S. customs official has been killed and another wounded in a
roadside attack in northern Mexico. Government officials say the two
were driving in an armored car with diplomatic plates on a well-traveled
highway between Mexico City and Monterrey when they were forced off the
road and surrounded by a group of 10 assailants.
