Egypt Releases Prominent Blogger Detained For Nearly Two Months

Egyptian authorities have released the prominent blogger and activist
Alaa Abd El Fattah after nearly two months in detention, although
prosecutors say they are still investigating his case. A vocal critic of
military rule, Fattah was accused of inciting violence against the
military. Fattah is the nephew of the bestselling Egyptian writer, Ahdaf
Soueif.
