Files Reveal Newt Gingrich’s First Wife Did Not Want Divorce

In campaign news, CNN has obtained the files from Newt Gingrich's first
divorce in 1980. For years, Gingrich has claimed his wife wanted the
divorce, but the records show otherwise. One document reads, "Defendant
shows that she has adequate and ample grounds for divorce, but that she
does not desire one at this time."
