Obama to Unveil Deficit Plan

President Obama is scheduled to deliver a key speech today on his
proposal for reducing the nation's deficit. The White House has not
released details, but officials say the plan will borrow heavily from
Obama's bipartisan deficit panel, which has called for a $4 trillion
deficit reduction over 10 years. The proposal will reportedly include
cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, a tax increase for wealthy Americans and
a modest reduction to the military budget.
