12 Killed in US-Militant Gunfight in Baghdad

In Iraq, twelve people were killed and dozens wounded Sunday in a
gunfight involving US troops. Iraqi forces called in US backup after
Iraqi militants attacked a military compound in Baghdad. It was the
first known firefight involving US troops in the Iraqi capital since the
nominal end to the US combat mission last month.
