Evacuations Ordered in NC Ahead of Hurricane Earl

Evacuation orders have been issued for two islands in North Carolina’s
Outer Banks as Hurricane Earl approaches the East Coast. Federal
officials say Earl has strengthened into a Category 4 storm. North
Carolina Governor Bev Perdue has declared a state of emergency.
