JPMorgan Chase Resumes Foreclosures

The banking giant JPMorgan Chase says it plans to resume foreclosures in
the next few weeks. The firm suspended foreclosures in forty states over
a month ago following the disclosure that many had been fraudulently
approved. A Chase employee testified earlier this year that she and her
staffers had approved around 18,000 foreclosure affidavits and other
documents without proper vetting on a monthly basis.
