Top Scientific Body Endorses Carbon Tax

The nation’s top scientific panel has endorsed a carbon tax on
greenhouse gas-causing fossil fuels. In a series of new reports, the
National Academy of Sciences’ National Research Council endorses for the
first time the view global warming is mainly caused by human activity
and calls on the US to limit overall emissions, in part through a carbon
tax.
