Red Cross: US Is Running Secret Prison at Bagram

The International Committee of the Red Cross has confirmed to the BBC
that the US is running a secret prison at the US airbase at Bagram in
Afghanistan. Nine former prisoners have told the BBC that they were held
in the secret site. Many former prisoners refer to the secret jail as
the “black jail.” Prisoners reported being subjected to sleep
deprivation, freezing temperatures and other abuses. The US has denied
the existence of the secret prison.
