Israel to Close Off Palestinian Village on Days of Wall Protests

In the West Bank, the Israeli army has announced new measures to quash
the weekly demonstrations against the Israeli separation wall. The
Palestinian villages of Bilin and Nilin will now be considered closed
military zones on Fridays, the day of the weekly protests. This will
prevent all non-residents of the villages from taking part in the
protests that have helped put an international spotlight on the Israeli
separation wall.
