27 Anti-Torture Activists on Trial in Washington

And in Washington, twenty-seven human rights activists are going on
trial today after being arrested at the US Capitol in January while
protesting President Obama’s failure to close the Guantánamo prison. The
protest was organized by the group Witness Against Torture.
