Oakland Approves Plan for Large Marijuana Production Plants

Oakland’s City Council has approved a plan to license four large
production plants where medical marijuana would be grown, packaged and
processed. The main opposition to the proposal came from small medical
marijuana growers who fear the move will put them out of business.
