Floridians Protest Offshore Oil Drilling Proposal

And in Florida, over 2,500 people gathered on the state’s beaches
Saturday to protest offshore oil drilling in an event called Hands
Across the Sand. Protests were held on over sixty beaches across the
state. Florida is considering lifting a twenty-year ban on offshore oil
drilling.
