Veterans Face Higher Unemployment Rate

In economic news, the latest figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor
Statistics show that the unemployment rate for veterans of the wars in
Iraq and Afghanistan remains above the national average. In November, 10
percent of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans were unemployed, compared
with 9.1 percent of non-veterans.
