WellPoint CEO Receives 51 Percent Salary Increase

In healthcare news, 2009 turned out to be a very good year for the CEO
of the private health insurance company Well Point. Angela Braly’s
compensation package soared by 51 percent last year. She earned $13.1
million, up from $8.7 million in 2008. At least three other Well Point
executives received compensation increases of as much as 75 percent.
